CCHS Mock Trial wins awards
The Clinch County High School Mock Trial team competed in regional competition on Saturday, February 1, in Savannah. The CCHS competed against schools in the Savannah area as lawyers and witnesses in a case given by Georgia Mock Trial. Clinch County’s Joslyn Thomas received an award for Best Attorney while Best Witness awards were given to Ellie Grace Griffis and AnnaLee George. The team was coached by Katie Futch, Daylynn Spivey, and Chad Jones, with assistance from attorney Chad Corlee, Lily James, Maddie Fortner and Reilly Robbins.
