Clinch 4-H partners with library to plant butterfly garden

Above are Bristol Thomas and Kathryn Daniel in the butterfly garden at the Clinch County Public Library.
Clinch County 4-H recently partnered with the Clinch County Public Library and the Institute of Museum and Library Services to create a beautiful new addition for the community—a butterfly garden.
Southwest District Junior Board Members Kathryn Daniel and Bristol Thomas rolled up their sleeves and helped with the planting. The project not only adds beauty to the library grounds but also serves as a learning opportunity, offering visitors a closer look at nature and the role pollinators play in our environment.
“We look forward to continuing our work with the library and watching the garden grow,” said Molly Steedley, UGA Extension-Clinch County. “Projects like this give our youth a chance to learn by doing and to give back to the community.”
Clinch County 4-H would like to extend a special thank you to the Clinch County Public Library and the Institute of Museum and Library Services for making this project possible and for allowing 4-H to be part of it.
