Strickland, Daugharty are this year’s STARs
This year’s STARS for Clinch County High have been announced. CCHS senior Nyla Strickland has been named this year’s STAR Student. Nyla earned the recognition by having the highest SAT score in her class, while also being in the top ten percent of his class. She selected CCHS English teacher Molly Daugharty as her STAR Teacher. Thursday, the Clinch County Lions Club hosted the STAR Student and Teacher at a special program at Homerville’s First Baptist Church. Strickland told the Lions Club that she plans to continue her education at South Georgia State and pursue a career in the medical field.
