Uncle Wayne’s to open on Friday

A new restaurant is opening in downtown Homerville this week. Uncle Wayne’s Steak & Barbecue Shack is opening on Friday, at 11 a.m., in the former Big Daddy’s and Hoagies location on East Dame Avenue. Owner Wayne Coleman, a Clinch County native, also owns a restaurant in Waycross, and invites the community to the Grand Opening on Friday. Hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday; 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. They will be closed on Mondays.
